Celestial Stalker

By Harmony Valdoz, Staff Writer

As the sun leaves the horizon,
when dark clouds the vision,
out it comes;
and haunts and stuns.

Up above the tree it lays,
then hides behind a skyscraper.
With me it seems to keep in pace;
a mighty stalker.

It has been a silent company
from since I was three.
Though more than a childhood mystery,
why is the moon following me?
