2012 is definitely not the end of the world as doomsday people said to be–in fact, it is the beginning of our humble online publication and the birth of an institution yet to bloom.
The last three months of 2012 is indeed a wonderful period of our college lives in The Manila Times College. We got to establish The Muralla, a school publication not only confined within the boundaries of our campus, but even outside the territories of our nation. It aims to shed light and give information on almost anything we students care about, both in the Philippines and the world.
The first three months was not that easy for us. We faced various technical and organizational problems that challenged our creativity, critical thinking, perseverance and also our relationships with each member of the team. But we got–and still struggling to get–through it as it honed our skills and character, all for the betterment of our very young publication.
We at The Muralla are optimistic this 2013, a better and stronger publication will arise. We see more content and readership coming as we institutionalize our publication. Indeed, we see a great year for all of us, to our colleagues, mentors, and our readers.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us creating and establishing The Muralla, especially our avid readers who make us more inspired of writing stories. We are very grateful to all of you.
In behalf of our editorial board and publication members, we all greet you a very happy new year! We wish you all the best this 2013!
Cheers to everyone!
